Human Co is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the devastating impact of plastic pollution — and empowering people everywhere to choose plastic-free alternatives.
We believe that an informed public is the most powerful force for environmental change. Through this website and community educational efforts, we're building a global movement — one person, one choice, one community at a time.

In 2016, Kat Lopez found her inspiration in an unlikely place — the cinema. Watching a film, she was struck by the power of immersive experience to move people, to shift perspective, to make the invisible feel real.
She thought of Walt Disney, who at 53 opened Disneyland — not just an amusement park, but a fully realized world designed to make people feel something. That concept took root in Kat's mind: what if you could create that same sense of wonder and connection, but directed toward the natural world?
A decade later, in April 2026, she founded Human Co on that belief — that education is the most powerful tool we have, and that when people truly connect with nature, they fight to protect it.
